            PERSONAL TRAINING

CorrectFIT Personal Training offers training to assure program advancement, progression and the ability for each member’s health and fitness journey to evolve over time. One-on-one personal training will be utilized for each member to receive ongoing fitness and performance evaluations including ongoing body composition, nutrition counseling, and product supplementation guidance. In one-on-one training our members will be seen by a certified trainer with an emphasis on Corrective Exercise to assure proper body mechanics, injury prevention and maximum results. The qualities of an ongoing, living exercise program will prove to be our better way to stay fit, meet and exceed all client goals.

Tip: We also offer Zumba® classes with Chasity. Call us for details!

            MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage therapists use their hands to manipulate skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. There are several types of masage including gentle or Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage and trigger point massage. It is an effective treatment in reducing stress, pain and muscle tension along with treatment for fibromyalgia, headaches, insomnia, nerve pain, soft tissue strains or injuries, sports injuries and digestive disorders.

Tip: Some forms of massage can leave you sore the next day. But massage shouldn't be painful or uncomfortable. If any part of your massage is uncomfortable or painful, let your massage therapist know right away. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water following your massage.

            FAR INFRARED SAUNA

Far Infrared (FIR) Sauna therapy duplicates the healthy FIR frequencies produced by the sun. Less intense than typical sauna heat, the FIR sauna excretes toxins--including heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, trans-fats and radiation from major organs. Aid in weight loss, as the inability to lose weight is often associated with chemical toxicity. FIR saunas improve the cardiovascular system, circulation, acne, exzema and psoriasis while providing tremendous relaxation, stress relief and energy!

Cost: $25 per session (30 minutes).

Tip: Because the temperature in a far infrared sauna in lower than a regular sauna, it is more tolerable to its users.

"Corrective exercise is a term used to describe the systematic process of identifying a neuromuscular dysfunction developing a plan of action and implementing an integrated corrective strategy." (Source: NASM, CES)

At CorrectFIT, our trainers utilize inhibitory techniques to reduce muscle tension (ex. foam roller), lengthening techniques (effective stretching), activation techniques to re-educate under performing muscles and integration techniques to retrain the body's parts to collectively work better functionally so as not just to "work out harder" but to work out functionally, with proper dynamic fitness.

CorrectFIT adheres to an integrative training approach introduced by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), which is the Optimal Performance Training Model (OPT). This model is a scientific, clinically proven approach to fitness based on rehabilitating and reconditioning the client. There are four forms to this training protocol including flexibilitycardio respiratorycorebalancepower and resistance training. By incorporating these elements into every program we design clients improve biomotor abilities, build high levels of functional strength, neuromuscular efficiency and dynamic flexibility. By following this systematic approach, our trainers will help clients to achieve long-term success, prevent injury and keep pain and discomfort out of your exercise & fitness routine.
