Today more people work in offices, have longer work hours and are physically inactive. This lifestyle leads to loss of physical function ability as muscular dysfunction worsens and incidence of injury increases. 

FLEXIBILITY

 

Stretching has multiple benefits. Good flexibility can improve your physical performance and help reduce your risk of injury. It improves posture and reduces low back pain as well as other joint dysfunction. Stretching increases blood supply to muscle tissue to delivery essential nutrients where its needed. It also increases flexibility and soft tissue pliability, minimizing discomfort and improving overall health. 

ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT

 

As opposed to simply just hitting the gym, athletes can also benefit from corrective exercise. Integrated training that includes multiplanar movements, acceleration and deceleration as well as dynamic stabilization will aid in the development of functional strength and neuromuscular efficiency to avoid injuries in sports. PROGRESSIVE WEIGHT LOSS

In the majority of overweight and obese patients, adjustment of the diet to reduce caloric intake will be required.. A key element of the current recommendation is the use of a moderate reduction in caloric intake to achieve a slow but progressive weight loss. Ideally, caloric intake should be reduced only to the level required to maintain weight at the desired level. Through the outside consultation of medical professionals including registered dieticians and medical doctors, proper nutrition along with proper exercise will ensure progressive but gradual weight loss.
